I want to use a generator to "trick" the inverters into thinking that there is a grid during a power outage, how do I set it up/is that okay?

Yotta Energy microinverters are designed to be grid-tied only. Yotta Energy does not support using microinverters in conjunction with a generator on a closed-loop system. The Yotta Energy warranty policy clearly states that microinverters used with a generator are not covered.
